Music events etc

Can anyone tell me where best to find information on any music events in Ayamonte, a timetable of events throughout the year would be good and places to meet other single people ?

I suppose it depends on your taste in music!

Thank you, I did say ANY events, if I know where to find information on all events I can decide which I may want to attend. I like many types of music.

You may of heard about Jackie Ashworth. Here is a link to her Facebook page on which she puts her upcoming bookings. Jackie is also doing gigs with the former members of The Bag. They appear at La Limonero most Fridays

Hi,
I have found this website useful for a calendar of events:

http://www.visithuelva.com/travelgui...=11&M=6&A=2012

It lists events throughout the province too. Look at the Eventos Destacados on the righthand side of the screen (especially the Foro in Palos de la Frontera for music).

Locally, look inside the Casa Grande for events in Ayamonte.

In addition to the above, you may wish to look at michael h's infoayamonte site and it's events calendar.

Thanks for all your help. I was sure Ayamonte had some kind of musical week, I remember sailing round to visit friends and there being a band playing along from the marina late into the night. I cannot remember which month though ?

I have just replied to your post giving a link to a suggestion, however a message came up and disappeared quickly before I could read it ... something about my post not visible. Not sure why this should be. If it is to do with the number of posts I have made and adding links, would it help if I sent you a PM or are links not allowed there either:confused:

Hi Pearls, and welcome,

I'm sure one of the moderators will be around to answer your question.

TCW,

Hi again,
Ayamonte's International Music Festival was held in August over the past 30 years I believe. Due to costs, it was given a rest last year (2011).

In an effort to promote cultural events the "Noches en el patio de la Jabonería" (artist's studio/museum near Templo de San Francisco) was held in August. Look out for notices of events nearer the time.

If a new member posts any links or emails in their first few posts then those posts are automatically sent to a moderation queue to be checked.

I am sorry for the inconvenience, but you would be surprised by the amount of spammers that we catch this way, which in turn helps keep the forum as spam free as we possible can.
