Default Murcia-tax changes

See "Murcia Today" for changes to taxes on buying property, and to inheritance tax discounts-they are not good!

Marvelous. As it says it doesn't affect the everyday man in the street. But at the end of the day it will affect everyone sooner or later once they want to move!
Even the inheritance tax, they really want to make sure they get their cake even when youv'e shuffled off this mortal coil.

Murcia, together with just a handful of other regions chose, when times were good, to give generous allowances against IHT.

Now that they are running out of money they are reverting to the same rules that apply to most people in Spain. That said they are retaining the extra allowances for children under 21.

I can't say I am surprised and I would expect the other regions that offer these special allowances to cut back on them.
