Mozzies

Hola, We are at this moment in CDS and my wife is been eaten alive by Mozzys. We have been to the chemist they have given us Suniderma 0.127 also Fenistil plus we have bought mozzy repellant spray. The bites are seeping and very inflamed. This is day 3! It is getting worse! Any advice for us... Thanking you in advance.. Keith.

I was told last week by an old Spanish lady that once the bite has been scratched the best thing to calm it all down and stop the swelling and the itching is to dab vinegar onto it. No idea whether this works or not.

Try Polarimide cream. It is an antihistamine cream designed for allergies to stings.

The equivalent pills are also good for hay fever.

Hola

Try Halle from the farmacia - I have a friend who is allergic to the normal sprays - but found this works.

I use Halley repellent and now in the rare occasion I do bitten ( having forgotten to put some on) I use Forever Living Aloe Vera Gelly. To soothe the bites. The ones that weep and swell are sand fly bites. Taking an antihistamine tablet ( if you can) helps reduce the itching. I would think any aloe vera would work but that one is magic :-)

Hi sorry to hear about your reaction to the Mozzie Bites.
After 10 years I still get the odd bit , but the best repellent by far is Halle , I see a few people already use this product.
Please try ! :fingerscrossed:
