Moving to Spain
 

Me and my partner are looking to buy property in Spain we are coming over in June. We are looking at Villamartin,mar menor,Torrevieja but are open to any ideas. We are looking for somewhere which has good ex pats clubs on the go hopefully bowling. Any advice would be great like how much cost of living council tax. And any good estate agents to sort us out when we come in June. Thanks in advance. Kenny

Your cash, but think about RENTING first. You need to be sure that when the excitement and holiday feeling wears off, you are in the right place for YOU. So many people have found out the hard way that it is not the place they thought. For example, Torrevieja has a high crime rate, so you need to choose your area there carefully. Spend (big)in haste, repent at leisure. Not being defeatist or raining on your parade, just realistic. Loads of heart breaking mistakes have been made out here.

Sound advice, we are looking at areas at the moment and then we will decide on buying.
