Re: Moving to Seville
Hi RachaelAnne1.
We have many clients living in Sevilla, La Rinconada for example as they work at the airport and its close. My clients are male and female and work either for Airbus or Rolls Royce, As i do not live there I can only recommend the area's we have worked in and that's a lot. You are welcome to PM me and I can pass on people who live here already, After I have spoken with them, And good luck on your move, Its extremely hot there in July/August. Kindest regards, Carl. |
Re: Moving to Seville
Hello everybody! I'm a "sevillano" myself. I don't know what your budget will be, but the best place to live near the airport is the "Santa Clara" area, just 5 min driving. As many told you over here it's extremely hot in summer, but if that's a problem to you, don't even consider Ècija!! Hope you'll enjoy my city!! Good luck with your new life!!

Re: Moving to Seville
Hi I have lived in Sevilla for a a few years and yes it is v hot in summer, Sevilla Este would be the most comfortable area to live as it has Mercadona supermarket, maccas and some variety of places to eat. The costs of a 3 brm apartment of a good quality will be around 500-700 per mth but if you go onto idealista.com or enalquiler.com etc you can look and find what your budget can warm to.
i personally wouldn´t recoommend La Rinconada it is dry and dusty and souless ( there ar e a lot ao places in seville like this. Sevilla este at least has some green trees etc to make it look a bit better as far as suburbia goes. Dos Hermanas is too far away and the traffic on the A30 is terrible as is traffic in Sevilla generally during the double peak hours there are due to everyone coming home for lunch and going back aftewards. Living in Centro is nice but it is noisy and getting your car in and out can be a pain in the backside. Hope that helps :) |
Re: Moving to Seville
sorry forgot to mention that when you are looking for a house try to go direct with the owner (particular) and avoid the agents like the plague that they are! segundamano or cambalache are good sources for private advertisers looking to rent and at the moment you can get v good value. Good luck

Re: Moving to Seville
Hi Rachael,
My fiancé and I are also in the same position, he has just been posted to fly out of Seville as of the beginning of July. So we too are trying to find accommodation and don't know where to start. Have you had any luck yet? Thanks Rachel |
Re: Moving to Seville
Hi everyone,
Many thanks for all your responses. We think we have sorted our accommodation for now and you have all been really helpful. I am now really looking forward to our impending move! Hi Rachel, I have sent you a message regarding my progress so far! X |

Hi Rachel,
Thanks very much for your reply! Apparently once I have made three posts I can actually get in to read it (this being one of them!) |
