Moving to Gib!
 

Hi there

I am new here so I do apologise if I am repeating myself. I have read pretty much every discussion on Gib, including one on whether there are monkeys or apes in Gib! So yes, I have done a bit of research. :rofl:

I was wondering if anyone knew how the transfer between UK and Gib police works? My partner is a PC and we are more than desperate to enter a world of sun shine. We were going to escape to Australia, but unfortunately are unable due to our little parrot!

This leads me to my other question...can you important parrots into Gib? I did not think it would be a problem with it being Europe, but was not too sure if he might need an injection or something. Also what is the best way to transport my little parrot over to Gib? Plane? Car? Does anyone know of airlines that would fly a parrot to Gib?

Thanks for the vet idea. Tried the vet who referred me to some governmental facility who have simply decided not to reply. Also the Gib police seem to have just sent me an automated response actually not even referring to my question...any other ideas on how I can get some info? I am starting to get very frustrated!

We are looking to come in September/October as the summer season will be over and looking around in the heat is not really my ideal. Does anyone know of cheap accommodation in Gib or La Linea for 3 nights?
