Moving to denia
Me and my partner are coming to denia in a week for a 6 days break (exploring what the areas like).. we are looking to move to denia march next year and wondering what the life style is like ? is there many jobs out there for us? I dont mind starting on bar/restaurant then moving into office work, my boyfriend is a self employed builder also. Please if you have any advise that would be great .
Thank you ,

Re: Moving to denia
We have a place a little down the road from Denia so are familiar with the surrounding area though have only been to Denia a few times.
Getting work can be a problem in Spain but you are thinking of moving to one of the more affluent parts of the Costa Blanca so there can be work but for you speaking Spanish would be a distinct advantage.
With regards to you other half there is much more building work going on these days, the difference between now and 8 years ago when we first got here is amazing so if your husband is good, reliable and willing there should be work available although wages are lower than the UK but so is the cost of living
Good luck

Re: Moving to denia
There is massive unemployment in Spain, many thousand of out of work Spanish builders and many youngsters desperate to find bar work.
