Cool moving to canary islands

hello there
we were contemplating moving to australia but is too far and too difficult so we are looking into canary islands
can you folks living there give us some tips?
how is the economy now? how is the standard of living?
we would either open or buy a coffee shop or a clothing shop
thanks

What island are you thinking of moving to? They're all quite different from each other. Also what area on the island as island life can vary greatly simply from north to south.

i moved to the canaries twice. i have writen this to help (SNIP) out others. first lived 2 years on tenerife and now with my fam on fuerteventura. we love it here. i do not know the other islands but i think any of them would be fine to live on! exept el hiero and la gomera maybe..
