Default Moving to Barcelona with family advice

Hi,

My husband has been offered to relocate to his Barcelona office in the near future, we are planning for him to rent for a few months and check out the areas for a long term rent next year for 2-5years for myself and 3 children.....
I have no idea where to start and am slightly terrified about the whole thing although we do love Spain, i speak no Spanish .
Are there many british families in/near Barcelona ? where is the best area to live with children ? Anywhere within 45 mins commute is fine. I had a quick look and it seems to be pretty pricey....
Also schools.... what are the international schools like ? My eldest daughter is about to start secondary school and is very shy and does not want to go so im worried of making a terrible decision My middle child is also dyslexic so im not sure how recognized it is there...
Any help or advice id really appreciate
