Moving to Australia
It is likely that our long awaited move to Australia will happen within the next three months. One of the many things to do is sell my RHD Spanish registered car (this is not a sales advert) but a request for any pitfalls, regulations that I need to be aware of either selling to a dealer or privately.
Any advice would be appreciated

Hola
Quite simply - Don´t hand over the car until the paperwork is completed. Make sure the transfer tax is paid to the Junta de Andalucía, and the transfer has been completed in Trafico. Then armed with the necessary bits of paper to prove you don´t own the car and are therefore not liable, pass the keys over for the money you agreed to sell the car for.

If you live in Oliva, Valencia, ignore the bit about paying anything to Andalucia!

Hola
Oops sorry - I was thinking of Olvera near me - should be the Junta not local Ayuntamiento - if it follows the same taxation as Andalucía. You need to ask anyone who has bought / sold a car locally
