They seem to be doing this for long term customers. It's a pretty good deal as their normal excess is €300.
For a few euros more they also offer a "fine management service" which means that they appeal your fines and try for a deal with Traffico who usually give up on it as they don't want the hassle of an appeal.

is that based on price criteria alone or also claims
the BH had an accident, no other driver involved whilst insured with Abbeygate - who are based in Gibraltar but offer cover in Spain through a consortium in the UK.
she was told to go to a particular place for the repairs, they hummed and hahhed over it and after advice from head office insisted she pay for the repairs and claim back from the insurer as they didn't trust the payment to be made.
And it took her quite a time to get the money back from Abbeygate.

The accident I had with an LD driver a couple of years ago was paid promptly money into my bank by Ibex on the strength of the estimate.
I've never had the repairs done.
