Mobile Contract - ID

Well I was going to swop from pay as you go to contract to get a new phone free. At both Vodafone and Orange my old tarjeta de residencia was not accepted as it is out of date. Didn´t want to get the new green form as I cannot use it for photo id in shops. Any ideas?

Get the green form (you should have one) and when applying just say you lost your old residencia so you can still use that. But I use my uk drivers licence for id and accepted everywhere for card verification.

You really should (have to?) get the updated green sheet.

But I would use my Spanish driving licence - works fine every where that I've needed proof of ID.

Good idea. Just one other point if I bought a smart phone from ebay uk would I be able to use it here on PAYG with internet access?

That would depend on the Spanish sim card re the phone it would obviously need to be unlocked to use the Spanish Sim or match the provider used.
