MF Renters
 

Hi all,
Just returned from a wet, cold CE .. oh well next time it will be warmer..

Wanted to know if anyone has an opinion on MF renting out apartments..

The first issue is that MF are not collecting rent in all cases - there are certain undesirables that have moved into CE, not paid rent for over 6 months, by-passed electric meters, and other activities that I cant write about on a public forum. I talked to MF about this, and they are trying (not to hard) to remove these people but I know not to hold my breath.

The second issue, is that assuming MF is collecting rent, should they not be contributing to the various maintenance fees for at least these apartments?

I have nothing against law abiding renters (in fact I would like to see more of them to ensure CE continues to grow), however when I see my quarterly fees go out, I just dont understand why MF can rent out and profit from apartments, in an area maintained by myself and other owners.

I dont want to discourage renters in any way, but I would like to see MF pay some of this rent towards the general maintenance..
