Default Metro line in Madrid to be sponsored by Vodafone

Strange one this. Will Vodafone get much value out of sponsoring one of the slowest metro lines in Madrid?

http://www.railjournal.com/index.php...ml?channel=542

Under the agreement all the signs and maps displayed in 272 stations and onboard 2311 cars will be reprinted to include the Vodafone logo alongside the Line 2 and Sol names. Recorded announcements will also be modified to include the new names. The agreement will also allow Vodafone to undertake unspecified commercial actions in any of the stations on Line 2.

Captive audience.
They can just keep slowly circulating around Madrid in ever decreasing circles till the punters finally give in and sign up to Vodaphone contracts for the rest of their natural.

DD you don't need to sign up for life. They interpret a one year contract as their prerogative to never stop billing you
