Metal detector in Lanzarote
 

Hi, we're heading to Lanzarote later in October and we need to buy, hire or borrow a metal detector for one day! (Long story, lost ring, chance in a million etc). Any expats in or around Puerto Del Carmen who can advise or suggest?

PS: If we can't get one on the Island, we'll get one here and bring it in....could that be a problem at the airport etc?

Well, only that the airport metal detector might pick up the metal detector

I think you'd have to talk to the airline, as unless it breaks down, it would probably be too long for the cabin, you would have to put it in the hold.
