We are making plans for the end of the transition period and requesting any advice/recommendations for medical insurance whilst out here. We have used the Medical Centre in VRSA a couple of times and been satisified with their care and costs. However, wanted to hear about other potential companies we could look at.
I am in my early 60s and hubby early 70s.
thank you.

Hola
Your hubby is entitled to an S! form from the NHS and you as dependant are covered - all paid for by the British NHS system - unless you dont apply before 31st December in which case as things stand, you lose entitlement

I think I'm right in saying that the S1 form is for permanent residence in overseas counties. I got the impression from your thread you were visiting Spain, but officially resident in UK, in which case the S1 is of no use. Like us, you just need half decent travel insurance in case the worst happens. Unfortunately we have found this increases every year as I am approaching 70 now.

Ha, I feel your pain Keith. Regarding G&T time, never forget - it's always 5 o'clock somewhere. Cheers!
