Medical insurance
 
Can anyone recommend a medical insurer that meets Spain's requirements for private insurance for a person not earning and supporting themselves?

Additional points for one that can be suspended when I'm out of the country and restarted when I return!

Do you mean to meet residency requirements? If so then when i recently did this they now insist on paying a full year up front. No doubt the authorities have got wise to people cancelling once residency obtained.

We had a good plan with Adeslas but there are plenty of other companies offering insurance for residents and they know you need full cover in order to meet the entry requirements.

Any site that lists providers and maybe even price compares?
