Matinsa Fadesa exits insolvency

But we were led to believe one of the main reasons La Plaza has been such a flop is the opening restrictions
They can't open Sundays or bank holidays thus preventing good days for trade.
I don't know if this is a local bylaw or a national one ?
That's why the complexes @ Jumbo & Tavira have more punters .

Kath and me went to the only Friday showing in English to the best of my knowedge the one choice was Nicol Kidman in Australia so we saw that. We were the only people in the room! The film was good so we went back the next Friday but no more and then the whole place closed. Was it us!

I´d say to make an artgallery out of it, that would be something.

Re: Matinsa Fadesa exits insolvency
I also posted the plan of the commercial centre years ago, but I cant find the document showing the old plans for B-king bowling etc. Probably not worth more time on finding it now!
I am interested in the work going on at the other commercial centre by the shop, I posted before that I sneaked in and was surprised to see the work going on there and the big bank of TV connections being set up. And new wiring in the units. Expensive. So will be 'watching this space' for developments there - like the new Portugese Resto. (Which seems to have stopped - sadly)
Does anyone know if the shop has completed works to make a tapas bar/eatery? Thats good news for us as we like going there for a drink on their great terrace, and to have some grub would make it better. I heard also that he wants to put up awnings as well so we could have more of a cover when it is too hot/raining. We give a lot of business there, and he will get more if he starts on the food.
Thanks
Jon
PS how is the no-smoking ban working out, can we go into Ayamonte bars that dont sell food and have a smoke - free atmosphere now?

Great! No smelly clothes each evening!
Now we have to wait a while to get the same rules in Belgium where we live. (Centre of Europe and way behind others - having no government isnt the problem either. Belgium is the longest running democratic country hiostorically without a government. Number 2 is Iraq!)
Thanks Jur
