Marriage in the Canaries
 

I am a non-EU national and my fiance is English living in the Canaries. We are planning to get married in the Canaries but we heard that applications are taking forever to be approved. Is this true? Appreciate any feedback.

FYI, as an alternative we are considering getting married in Gibraltar. But this would mean I need a visa for both the UK and Gibraltar.
