Marks and Spencer

Hi,

Just looking at the M&S website, I see they charge a reasonable £7.50 charge for items to Spain.

However I was surprised to see how many M&S are in the Canary Islands...why?! I really wish they would have a few more in the mainland!

I've sent a email to [email protected] to beg for more!

They had one in Barcelona but it closed a few years back, lack of business.

Thay add at least 7.50 quid to every price, old stock they couldn`t flog in the UK.

They aren't really Marks & Spencer stores, just franchises!
I went to the one in Marbella not long after the opening and was very disappointed, there was nothing of interest and all of it over priced,I shall not be making a return visit!
I have found that the C&A stores here are much better for choice and for value.

Well it seems they are returning to France, so Spain could well be next.

Marks and Spencer has announced it is to re-enter the French retail market, 10 years after shutting down all its European stores.

The company said it would open a 15,000 square foot store on the Champs-Elysées in Paris later this year.

M&S also said it was in talks with its partner SSP to launch a number of its Simply Food stores, under franchise, in Paris.

My wife has just gone shopping and said she'll pop into M&S and get their Meal Deal

I just wish that M&S were like that here, in Marbella it's just very uninteresting clothes!

Yes, we were there when it opened, and never heard any great reports about it.

A great disappointment. Over priced everything.
