I suspect there are some who do not know of the Generalissimo's passing or the transition to democracy. I certainly come across posts here from people who seem to be of the same political hue !

The actions of Juan Carlos should also not be forgotten, in the early days of the New SPain he stopped the generals from supporting a right wing coup attempt by Francoists.
Had he not would Spain still be a democracy ??

It has been decided that they are going to rename Madrid's Barajas airport to Adolfo Suárez airport

I think it's a proposal at this stage, but entirely possible it will be approved. Suarez was after all, a product of the right wing Falange, and, his party he helped to form after the fall of Franco, later became the PP.
I hope it doesn't get the go-ahead though. Can you imagine all the cheap shots because an airport has "Adolfo" in its name?

Oops, you were right Andy - they've already agreed..

The Public Works Ministry announced on Monday that it has approved a request by the government to rename Madrid Barajas Airport in honor of former Prime Minister Adolfo Suárez, who died on Sunday.

Is it ?

There's obviously quite a lot of Spaniards beginning to wonder about that at the present moment.
