Yes, we are safe until JDR comes along.

Greece is great but too far to travel and the language too difficult.

Spain is still my number one.

Probably! Bet he knows how to say `you are beautiful........gorgeous.... I love you.... your smile kills me...... blah blah blah blah blah blah `

WE ALL remember the countries that we visited when we were young, when we were spouse-less and childless.... MMM. I LOVE my OH and kids to bits ... but its soooo nice to remember sometimes........ mmmmmmm and judging by the posts..... there are LOTS of happy memories for everyone!

I havent seen the film yet... in any country... but I will when its on cable tv or on DVD... It has had brilliant reviews. One good thing about still living in blighty is it won`t be dubbed.

I used to hate watching dubbed films - but you sort of get used to it

they do have VO films in our local cine, but they're rarely the one you really want to see

dd1 went to see mama mia with a group of friends her age (12), some of whom have lived here longer than us, and most of them had never yet been to the cinema here and watched a film in Spanish!

We had it on Cd from one of my visits to Spain but I did not watch it as I though it was a film I would need the atmosphere of the cinema to enjoy. I have now seen it twice! ( long story as to why ) but I thought it was a real "feel good " film and all the actors were good, Julie walters was great, of course. Very over acted and very tongue in cheek. Wanted to stand and applaud at the end like you would at the theatre..

Well worth th eprice of a cinema ticket
wether it would come across the same dubbed I'm not sure
