Mallorca, Can Pastilla - Any recommended garages?
Bugger! My car has broken down. Everything's closed now on Saturday afternoon, so it's been recovered and is awaiting delivery on Monday, to a local garage of my choice. So, can anyone recommend a good garage in Can Pastilla area that can do the repairs next week? I realise it's a bit of a niche question, but would appreciate anyones input. Thank you.

There's only one that I know of. Just down the street from the Burger King. Don't know the name, sorry.

In the future, for regular things like brakes, tyres, lights, etc., you might try Norauto in the poligono llevant, near Ikea.

Yeah, I saw them the other day, I'm guessing they are like a Spanish version of Quickfit. FYI, I just had a call from the garage (Autocontrol Palma) and it's the ECU (Electronic Control Unit) which is going to cost me €690. Not sure yet if that +VAT. So not a cheap fix at all, but ECU's are expensive, so that's not the garages fault. Hopefully picking up tomorrow or Saturday.
And thanks for your input Ami, you are always super-helpful. Cheers.

Hey Tweedpipe, sorry, I must have missed your reply. The car is unfortunately old, with high mileage, so any interest the manufacturer has in the vehicle has long since passed. Anyhow, the issue was explained in greater detail when I arrived at the garage to collect the car. There was a difficult to find electrical short, which fused some of the ignition circuitry causing the car to cut-out. This also had the effect of causing the ECU to require a re-program (rather than a replacement). But it's all good now! Thanks for your advice though.
