Perhaps a little about yourself might bring out some kindred souls or save a lot of stilted embarrassment later. Given that there are hundreds, if not thousands, of Brits in and around Madrid, there's gotta be someone that you can hook up with. Have you looked at the Man In Madrid and In Madrid forums as well? Plus the freebie papers and TBS.

There are a few Madrid posters here, if I remember right, but not prolific. This is my first post in weeks - too much time commuting back to London to make ends meet for the family.
