Re: Made in Spain
oh dear the EU fluffy bunny corner will get upset
they have spent €millions on providing subsidies to Bangladesh and other places, allowed them exclusive rights to dump their slave labour products without any form of tariffs. Looks like you can't keep a good (and desperate) country down, so I can almost see another EU tax coming along  |

JLR said that the jobs at the Solihull site would bring the total number of jobs it had created in the UK over the last three years to almost 11,000. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-24018350 I do like the looks and supposed performance of the concept car. |

After two decades of a delocalization boom, there are now growing calls to bring part of the production that has moved overseas back home to Spain - and it is already taking place. According to Ãngel Asensio, the president of the Spanish Federation of Clothing Companies (Fedecom), 15 percent of delocalized production has been returned to factories in Spain and Portugal. An increasing number of companies has announced the transfer of their production centers back to Spain.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-24018350 I do like the looks and supposed performance of the concept car. Anything which gives the UK manufacturing jobs is good in my mind, So really good news for JLR, I have been inside their Test & Development centre a number of times. Also seen the desolation at Browns Lane, with rusty testing eqpt lying all over the place. But then also seen the same at Longbridge. Regrettably a number of concept cars don't ever hit the streets, probably too hard to make in volume, alright in the design workshop. But I really have the new RR front end, it looks Yuck, and as if it has hit the boundary of "The Cupola", the Bentley really looks the business. |
