Hi, we just bought an old house near Pinoso that needs doing up, does anyone know of a builders yard or reclamation yard in the Pinoso area? The house needs everything doing to it, so we need doors, windows, kitchen and bathroom fitments to name just a few things. Thanks Glenda

I would check out The Inland Magazine aka TIM has lots of adverts for that area and they also have a great Rastro market with all sorts of amazing stuff every Sunday morning - see here http://www.timspain.com/

Glenda, you do need to ensure that you get the proper planning permission, and permissions to make any alterations to what is currently there, so a visit to the town hall is the first thing you need to do, even if you are just rebuilding the walls ect you do need permission.

Hi yes, I thought there was probably a minefield waiting so asked an architect to do it for us. We have to find a good builder, do you know of any? Thanks Glenda

There are two large builders merchants in Pinoso, several ferreteria's (thats like an old fashioned UK ironmongers!) A carpinteria (timber shop) two cristaleria's (glass shop) several tile shops however I've yet to find a plumbers merchant, but some stuff is available in the ferreteria's, I'm sure I've missed a couple here! However if you want to browse a store like a UK B&Q then you have BricoDepot at Crevillente and Leroy Merlin at either Elche or Murcia.
