Good evening all hope everyone is safe and well .. just looking for a update on how things are in Costa Esuri .. And if anyone has any idea when we will be able to return to Esuri.. when boarders are open on both sides if the ferry is back up and running.. thank you Debbie.

The Spanish/Portugal border will open on 1st July. Bridge and ferry closed until then. If you drive all the way from the Chunnel You can come tomorrow with the right paperwork, all Schengen borders except S/P open 21/06. U.K. is not Schengen. and it has not been announced when U.K. flights will recommence. Costa Esuri is fine quite busy now since Andalucia Provinces were allowed free movement. Madrid & Barcelona still locked down till the 21/06. Only one confirmed Covid case so far which has recovered. We are leaving for Ireland as soon as we can sail. Concerned that the internal tourists will bring Covid to their holiday homes from the big cities Madrid, Cordoba, Sevilla etc. There is absolutely no immunity in Ayamonte since their has been no Covid. It could spread very quickly. Bars, restaurants, shops commercial premises all opening up very quickly with restrictions, masks must be worn but not everyone is. You do see the handshakes and hugs beginning to happen, the Spanish are very tactile

Thank you John very helpful as always .. think we will stay home a bit longer now .. and Let everything settle down .. coming from the euro tunnel what would the correct paper work be .. so you have been in Esuri for the whole of the lockdown .. and your now head back to Ireland when you can .. safe travels and stay safe .. and hopefully we will all be back to costa Esuri one day safe and well .. thanks again John .

The major requirement is either Spanish Citizenship with passport or full Residency papers for Spain and Padron with EU passport. You can download forms to pass through France.

From the 22nd June, UK nationals will be welcome into Spain without quarantine BUT you will get quarantined by the UK on return (currently)
