CAN ANYONE RECOMMEND AN AREA THAT IS PRETTY BUT STILL HAS PLENTY OF EX PATS AS WE DONT SPEAK THE LANGUAGE YET .

Plenty of brit ex pats on the Costa Blanca South, around Torrevieja. We are in Playa Flamenca, and no shortage of brits here, plenty of British run bars and shops, and most Spanish shops have English speaking assistants

Javea on the Costa Blanca Northern Coast has 52% ex pat , a nice mix of english,germans & french as well as nice Spanish community.
It is one of the more expensive areas to live, although worth every penny.
