Living in Biar
 

I currently live about 50km from Biar, I an wanting to move and have made a visit or two but just wondered, on the off chance, is there anyone out there that lives or has lived in Biar and that can tell me anything about it?
I have been in Spain 18yrs and speak reasonable Spanish. I am a widow. I am after a small town life, don't need a bit expat community but some other British folk would be nice. I like walking, socialising.

I used to walk with a group in that area a while ago - there were a few expats about and it was used as a language exchange centre by a big commercial company (I don't know if that resumed after Covid) I would suggest more visits and research before you take the plunge. I remember it was cold on winter mornings being 700mts above sea level.

Thanks for that. I have done one visit over and liked what I saw. Weather wise, where I live , near to Elda, has frosts and cold in winter so I am okay with that. But thank you for your reply

OK well if the weather is not an issue - maybe Biar is the perfect place for you!
