Lidl in Adra
Friend came back from there tonight and would seem the check out lady is on a scam, well one of them. for instance, friend handed over 50€ note for 46€ 19c bill. as you may know the check out slip says
Total 46€ 19c
Entregado, ie money handed over, in this case it said 46.19 not 50e
so didnt show what change to hand over,
under Entregado it should say Cambio.
they had another bill to show this, the change that had been handed over was 1€ short. was full of small change so expected not to be checked.
So what I am saying is check your change at any shop and if you visit Lidl in Adra be careful.
They did get the euro back, but have to wonder how many other non spanish speakers they tried this on with?
