Just the thin end of the wedge I'm afraid....and I told you guys a long time ago that more of our basic human rights would be infringed if everybody kept conforming to every ludicrous directive aimed at extorting money out of us.

Now this directive is going to be invoked on June 1st you'd better be prepared to get all your equipment authorised and licensed over here......otherwise you run the risk of it being impounded and crushed.

And it's not just a matter of getting a Certificate of Conformity. All equipment is checked rigorously.....and as with car headlights it is not legal for it to veer to the left. It has to veer to the right for safety reasons.....so you may have to have them re-aligned.

AFAIC I'm going to do what I always do.....just carry on doing it illegally in the only way I know how!

As like with old cars it's more important to have an ITV and things tend to not work like they used to and being of your age and various hair colours I guess you would know that all too well! :)

Nice place and an interesting fact for you!

You can sign on in the IOW and virtually never get hassled to get a job as it has a higher population than the amount of jobs available.

At least that's what someone told me down the pub awhile back!
