Legal Now!!!
Well we have done it. Been into Benidorm and got our Residencia! Did cheat a little bit! A contact was paid who then paid a man to stand in line, we met him at 1.00 at the Police Station where they were only 4 people in front of us and walked out 30 mins later with our Residencia. Now I know people will think we were mad to pay someone but just couldn't face the time spent in the line especially as I have now started work.
Anyone who wants the contact's details and price please pm me.

Don't think so - he works nights as a security man, goes to bed for a few hours then goes down the to queue and collects the tickets issued off his men then liases with the likes of us to meet him at the Town Hall. I do know his details are with all the Dutch and he is doing more and more English people and certainly our office uses him.

Re: Legal Now!!!
When I first got my NIE in Valencia in 2003, I had to queue for two hours at the main police with hundreds of what appeared to be Central/South Americans.
In 2004 they opened an 'EU citizens only' office round the back of El Corte Inglés at Nuevo Centro. When I went to get my residencia card there was no queue, just a waiting room with chairs, no longer than 10 minutes.
