Learn Spanish CDs
 

Hi everyone my previous thread regarding Rosetta Stone got deleted as it gave the idea the you could download the program for free and of course we don't want to encourage people to "steal" not that people need encouragement :D

Anyways I'm looking to buy some used Spanish CDs. I figure their are loads of them out there and once you learn the language you don't need them anymore. I'm particularly interested in Rosetta Stone.

Interestingly enough they are impossible to find used:huh: maybe they come with a self destruct mechanisation :lol:

Try browsing Amazon i got some very very cheap but good cd`s and books.

I am using the Rosetta Stone on line subscription - which is cheaper than buying the CDs (as both types need a PC to run). Early days but I like their 'Dynamic Submersion' technique... no English used at all.. it's all done with picture association, repetitive learning, multi-choice answers and voice recognition... totally interactive.

I've tried Michel Thomas (can't stand his voice and clacking false-teeth), Elizabeth Smith (Spanish in 6 Weeks) and various other aural / listening lessons and 2 years on can hardly string a sentence together !!!!

www.learno.com is another interesting on-line tutorial Q&A style and free!

We all learn differently and at different paces though. Here the Hondon Council run free Spanish Lessons for beginners (good place to meet Expats).
