Poland? I'd love to hear the Europhoria propaganda being politicised in Poland. I'd be surprised if "we're all gonna be rich" isn't part of it. Of course, the actual translation is "a few of us will get rich, the rest will get poorer".

I reckon Latvia must be in pretty deep doo doo if joining the Euro somehow seems wise.

Perhaps the best example of this tendency to define disaster as success is Latvia, a country that before the crisis everyone would immediately have labeled a catastrophe. Latvia, you see, has experienced no net economic growth since 2006: its 2008-2009 collapse was severe enough it still hasn’t returned it to its pre-crisis peak of activity, and likely won’t do so until 2015. Unemployment, at around 14%, is still eye-wateringly high, and real wages (those adjusted for inflation) in 2012 were about 5% smaller than they were back in 2007.
all these countries that are exporting working age people faster than any other product will be (if not already) without people to pay for the running of the country. All that will be left will be the women, children and elderly.
its all a house of cards, especially if/when Cameron manages to stem the flow of child support etc etc that is flooding out of the UK at the moment.

I read that Cyprus was doing well with 30 years of growth, until it joined the Euro.

How many of the Eurozone ponzi scheme initiators are in jail? Seems to me most of them are still in charge of things.

Not so in Poland - it seems like the Vietnamese are taking over. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/20714006
