On the subject of being 'stuck' somewhere, l won't deny that there will have been genuine exceptions however I think in the vast majority of instances, and certainly in terms of the EU, there will be few cases of being stuck which do not involve at least some element of choice.

Agreed. Some would be influenced by family health issues. Others by costs, risks, practicalities, possibilities for getting back to habitual residence. In fairness the EU countries bent over backwards to facilitate travel to ones habitual residence or indeed away from for humanitarian or health reasons.

I still live in the UK but would like to relocate to Spain when we are free from the virus. We have to wear masks but only on public transport from 15/6. Do you think people should wear masks also in shops for example???

Yes you're lucky to live there. The only thing I would miss when I would move to Spain next week are my friends here. I'm originally from Germany and have got some good friends here and just feel more comfy to be together with Brits they have also a good sense of humor ;-)
