La Alfrquia

Hi All

New to the forum so just saying hi.

Am looking to create a shortlist of place to inspect to move my family over.
Me wife and 3 yr old.

Could anyone tell me what La Alfroquia is like please. What is the mix of english to spanish?
Can you get broadband out there?
Are there any nursery's for toddlers in the area?
I see there are 2 english restaurants. Would you say it is "holiday place"?

Thanks for any help in assisting me with my shortlist.

Regards

Tony

Depends what you are looking for. If the permissions finally get sorted out there will be alot more building and more english then spanish.

La Alfolquia/Zurgena area has many Brits who will soon start outnumbering the locals.
Problem also with legalities of some of the new builds. Villages in this area turning into sprawling towns.
Stayed in area. But preferred to live permanently elsewhere.
Will pm you some local forums where you will get all your questions answered.

Can't pm you. Haven't done sufficient postings yet.
However put Arboleas, nearest village, in google . It's the local forum.

Try Viva Almeria too, the boards there have lots of info about different areas.

Thanks to who replied.

Any info is great help at this stage. Looking to move in about a years time. Spent a couple of years on the CDS, and was trying to broaden my search to other areas to give me a better overview of where i want to try and relocate to.

Thanks for the help

Regards

tony
