Uhh, why on earth shouldn´t pensioners buy on credit provided they have enough income. My friend in the UK took out a 10 year old extension to her mortgage. There is absolutely no reason why they shouldn´t. Plus the fact that unless you are paying cash they have no facility to take your money.
I contacted the manufacturer of the sofas we liked by email three times and had an acknowledgement but nothing else. Today I saw in the Daily Mail which I purchased in Gib that DFS is delivering to Spain and Portugal with interest free credit. Would prefer to buy Spanish but as I am getting no response will most likely go this way. I won't even order clothes by mail order from the UK, let alone sofas! |

Whilst I'd dearly love to be able to order sofas from the UK (I'm not impressed by what is on offer locally) the only way I could contemplate doing it is if I could go into the shop whilst on a visit to the UK to actually see them and sit on them to make sure they are comfortable. I couldn't possibly just look at a picture and choose one from that, it's too big a purchase for that. What if you didn't like it when it arrived - would you have to arrange to have it shipped back, and who would pay for that?

know what you mean, ordered some trousers - they were too short, one pair was too large the other pair too small, but they had identical labels on them saying they should be a perfect fit.

Finding anything like that in Spain is like looking for a needle in a haystack. |

I don't like sofas with low backs, being tall I like to have something to lean back against. I also want sofas with high arms, those low ones are useless. Worst of all are the modern ones with no arms at all, I stayed in an apartment in the centre of Manchester that had them, very smart leather ones but I felt like I was sitting in an office waiting room.

This is where we want to buy our sofas from made in Seville but cannot get them to reply to our emails to give us prices and shops where we can buy them? |

In the North of Spain or North of England? Just practised my Spanish and got absolutely nowhere - my fault for not being fluent.

I like one of their styles, but as you say it's frustrating if you can't make contact with them, and wouldn't fill me with confidence about placing an order with them if their customer service is that bad.
It is an important point though, always call. Quite often the website hasnt been updated since the last IT grant ran out :) The telephone is still very big in Spain when shopping |

I'd have to go and check, but it would be no good for you because they dont have a website. Being a foreigner, I asked them and they smiled and said no :)

800 euros seems incredibly cheap for a sofa like that in leather. The only place in Spain I know where you can get sofas so cheap is Ikea - and they are what they are |
