just a quickie
Can you use uk fax machines out in spain.No big deal as if you cant we wont take ours!!
Got a a date now and we have to be out in a week :scared:

Yes, all you need is an adaptor to connect your BT style cable to a US style socket - or if the cable is detachable - a replacement.
Oh and an adaptor for the actual plug, or PSU to fit into a Spanish 2 pin socket.
When you get here, remember to put your fax machine on the end of a surge protector as fax machines and modems tend to be the first to go if you get a power surge.

Because of the differences in the two systems you actually need at BT primary socket into which to plug the fax then plug that into the Telefónica socket. If you just use and adaptor it may not answer an incoming call.

we only use it for faxes incoming and outgoing but all this info is being taken onboard and is much apprieciated
