thought i might as well post this as its about the only spanish forum im still allowed
anyway,was about 2am,today,heard a noise,i have a boat in my garden,opened window,shined torch,saw some effer run,got keys and weapon went down to garage,its communial,6 houses light was on? at 2am,went to check garage,looked back,another effer ran out of my garden(im the end house),guy was gone
now who were these people,maybe random,just wanna steal the engine off the boat,nah i think it was my new scumbag neighbours from england who are upset that they cant connect to my satalite dish as i charge them 95e to do that,i waited till england were out before i did tho,might be wrong ofc
landlord is an ex copper too
i am ranting as i had a great adrenalin rush,i would have hurt those guys if i had caught them

I understand the anger but not knowing anything about their circumstances it's easy to be judgemental. I'm not saying I wouldn't have the urge to pummel someone who broke into my home and stole from me, but I don't think I would ever act on the urge unless either I or my family were threatened with violence.

I'd probably do the same as you as that is my nature. But if they did get a bit if a hiding then so be it. And whatever their circumstances that's no justification for breaking in.

I’m a Liberal voter. The last time three burglars broke into my home, I managed to catch one of them. When the Guardia Civil arrived, he managed to run away but he didn’t get too far.

I heard the gun shots from a couple of streets away and made a long statement to ‘internal affairs’ about the burglar’s possession of a knife with which he attacked the officer who shot him dead.

I also attended an ID parade months later and picked out the other two burglars, they looked just like their photographs.

Because I vote Liberal, I didn’t mention the burglars nationality. They were Algerian.

There's a certain truth to that.

There should be a liberal atittitude to those that start off on a life of crime. If they can be reformed, then that is by far the cheapest and most effective way of dealing with them. (It should also be pointed out that before any of them end up in jail, usually they have been offered very many chances of reforming, and to be blunt there then comes a point when they are frankly not worth the effort.)

I don't believe in three strikes and out, I just prefer double or quit.

ie, if the offence carries a five year sentance, the second will carry a ten year sentance and so on.

Plus, if robbery carries a five year sentance, robbery with violence carries ten as a minimum and so on.
