Re: Julian Assange.
I find it strange the man suspected of sexual assault gets more discussion on here, than the man who has been held without charge for 800+ days.

Re: Julian Assange.
what about the illegal immigrant who raped 2 women and got 6 years whilst the man who "illegally" took £5.5m from his own company and gave himself up for trial gets 10 years ??

Re: Julian Assange.
I'd love to see him end up there.
He'd soon find out the real meaning of being gagged, much the same as all the media out there.,

Re: Julian Assange.
From the Guardian
So says the WikiLeaks twitter feed which is generally assumed to be run by Assange.
There is a picture of the 'siege' of the Ecuadorean embassy
WikiLeaks has been accused of crass self-centredness after it intimated that its founder Julian Assange's current refuge inside the Ecuadorean embassy in London in part explained or even justified Wednesday's attack on the US diplomatic mission in Benghazi which killed the ambassador, Chris Stevens, and three other Americans
"By the US accepting the UK siege on the Ecuadorian embassy in London it gave tacit approval for attacks on embassies around the world."

After all if he got out the door and past the police guard, where on earth could he go ?
It would take one hell of an elaborate and cunning plan to wisp him away to Equador and in any event I imagine he's already spent enough time in their company by now to be seriously thinking about giving himself up and taking his chances.

Re: Julian Assange.
what is the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police doing......
all those policemen who could be nicking peaceful motorists for speeding (in London !! where the average speed is about 6mph)
or better still moving on vagrants begging and playing out of tune instruments outside Underground stations.
