Default Judge suspended

What ever is happening ????

Now one of the judges on the "Malaya Operacion" has been suspended for allegedly taking "certain payments to cover expenses in exchange for making decisions in favour of people involved in the Marbella planning corruption case"

Story here ............. more here

He was not a judge on the Malaya case - he was the judge who sorted out the money laundering case "Operation Hidalgo".

He has been accused of being involved in the Malaya case.

What I don't understand is how you can become a "judge" at 28. I can only assume that they are not judges as we know them in the UK but some sort of "prosecutor/investigator".

Which ever way you look at it, you can't trust any of them!

"Francisco Javier de Urquía was suspended from his duties at the head of Marbella’s Court Number 2 on Thursday last week by the General Council of the Judiciary (CGPJ). He is being investigated by the Andalusian High Court (TSJA) for alleged bribery and corruption as part of the Malaya case."

OK..... he was a head of court two judge on the Hidalgo Operacion, which is part of the Malaya Operacion.
Sounds like he was judging on the Malaya Operacion to me ?

Two judges - two different courts - both in Marbella.

Francisco Javier de Urquía was suspended from his duties at the head of Marbella’s Court Number 2.

The Malaya case is being heard by Judge Miguel Ángel Torres Segura in
Instruction Court No. 5 in Marbella.

Its pretty obvious that they are different judges and courts, but surely the money laundering case is from the illegal building bribes taken that was discovered by the Malaya investigation ?

No, Hidalgo is an entirely different case. It involves money laundering from international drug trafficing and prostitution.

Needless to say, some people are involved in both cases!

The previous big money laundering case was the Balena Blanca - White Whale.

There were so many lawyers and notaries involved in all these cases I am surprised there are any left!
