Tomorrow is the inauguration of Calle orge Juan, Madrid. They've made the street more narrow and but some concrete down and have decided to make a party out of it. :confused:
Good news is it's all happening outside the restaurant Pan de Lujo on Jorge Juan 20. They will have drinks and tapas outside the restaurant. If I remember correctly it all kicks off at 20:30 and goes on 'till around midnight. The Mayor will be there along with other dignitaries and the usual wealthy and famous. If you've not been to the restaurant before it's well worth a visit but be sure to insist on the guy with the pony tail as your waiter who speaks fluent English and not the short guy in the black jacket that stands there looking like he's catching flies everytime you try to call his attention.
Also worth visiting bar hypnotic afterwards.
