Jobs in Mallorca
My husband and i are planning a move to Mallorca in Jan 2010 (i know it sounds a long way off but want to organise properly). He is training to be a scuba dive master and has already been enquiring about work as scuba assistant instructor etc in mallorca! I on the other hand are concerned about the job front! Since i have left uni i have done office work and thats it! I am in the process of learning spanish as i know this well be a bonus! Just need some advice on the job situation out there, and what its like during the off peak seasons?
Thanks

Re: Jobs in Mallorca
Hi Liz, I have not lived in Mallorca but had ahouse there for 20 years. I think summer season you will be busy but I am not sure off peak. Good spanish obviously will be helpful for both of you. With the currently economic climate I dont think anyone could quote on jobs, hopefully by 2010 it will have picked up. Mallorca is very quiet in the winter time and climate is not as good as southern spain. Sorry not more helpful.
