Anyone been to Jesus Pobre the last 2 nights, been some sort of street partys. Never seen a small village get so crowded and noisy, wall even got knocked down and stuff broken. Goes on till about 4-5am, looks like its starting again now for anyone wanting to see

I wonder if this was connected to all the campaigning that has been going on lately for the elections. I know that here in Javea we have been subjected to vans driving around with giant speakers blaring forth the merits of each political party, interspersed with some particularly dreadful musical sections and all of it distorted to the point of driving me mad!!

We also had party meetings being held at various locations throughout Javea, including a particularly loud meeting, again with some mediocre karaoke-like musical selections, up at the park in Thiviers that went on to about midnight on Thursday.

Or, perhaps it was on account of Valencia´s football team last chance at getting into the top three or whatever

Whatever, the locals do like a good fiesta......

Got a nice firework display now with some band marching about and a bouncy castle with kids throwing bangers everywhere

Live music on stage starting soon, bar right next to stage. Pizza stand and stuff for your kids to do so such as shooting(bb gun win some teddy sort of thing), bouncy castle I've already had 4pints, time for plenty more Quite a few english about to.
