Javea

Arriving in Javea tomorrow for a short break. I seem to think Saturday may be a bank holiday, if so will the bars and restaurants be open.

Dont meant to gatecrash your post but does anyone also have any recommendations for hotels in Javea? Preferably beach front. Thanks.

My brother stayed at the Parador at the Port end of the Arenal beach. I think the standards are quite high.

Yes December 8th is a public holiday in Spain - The Day Of The Immaculate Conception.

Bars and restaurants will still be open though.

a lot of places are only open Saturday morning

Today was a public holiday in this area. Have a good holiday, the weather is good at the moment, sunny and warm during the day but cold at night so take warm clothing for the evenings ;)

We had lunch at the Javea Parador during a holiday in Javea a few years ago. Excellent food - and lovely gardens too!

Hi folks, will be moving into a rented villa in Javea on 21st December through to end of May.In that time will be looking to purchase in Javea or preferably Moraira. Would prefer a place with a bit of land to it or at least a large garage to house my machines.(engineering machines)
Anyone know of any properties for sale down that neck of the woods?
Any help much appreciated.
I am British and my 2nd wife is Spanish going to be working at the bank in Moraira soon.
