Sam, kids are a real education, aren't they?

Apart from the instinctive F***s when I hurt myself, I usually prefer the considered approach, so you will usually hear me cursing a piece of equipment thus.

'F**** you, and F**** the cheap, diseased wh*re that sh*t you out to be a plague on me.'

I feel better already. Interestingly I don't swear at people, only things.

Another thing. If it's a small, painful injury, I will be F-ing and blinding for ages.

If however I really hurt myself it is completely different. A while ago I laid my hand wide open with a gash that was more than two inches long, deep, and threatened to cost me the use of an index finger. As I looked at the 'mouth' that had opened up in the palm of my hand, the blood just filled my cupped hand and ran onto the ground.

I looked at it, thought for a moment, and said 'Bother.' Then I paused, and said 'Drat.'

That was the closest I came to actually swearing. :cool:

Most people swear at some time or another. Sometimes a swear word enhances a point. What happens on here is the name-calling and swearing makes the thread go off-topic more often than `the silliness` that a lot of people are complaining about.
