So Spain's forced to officially deny the report from global247news which was the first website with this story which papers like the Express and Mail are copying, but it's not very clear where this website comes from. It might be trying to get clicks or it might be a fake news site.

I would imagine in areas where there are large numbers of British that haven't obtained residency and of course exchanged driving licences then local police and Guardia will have a good idea of who these people are and pick them off. Routine vehicle checks for starters re the driving licences. Life I guess will simply become too difficult and they will probably return to UK of their own accord rather than being deported. As always time will tell.
