Default Internet : Portable wi fi dongle for an Euro a day ?

Hello. In Portugal I use a NO'S simcard which works in a dongle or mobile phone turning it into a hotspot for internet access. Somewhat to my surprise it does actually work well, and is completely unlimited so even watching films in the evening does not stop it working.

There is no long term commitment - just fifteen days at a time for Euros 15.

Can anyone advise if there is a similar offering from any of the Spanish mobile 'phone companies ? It needs to be a simcard which can be bought over the counter at a shop ? supermarket, rather than online.

Thanks in advance for guidance .....

Try Digi. No contract and the unlimited option is 25 per month. They have agents all over the place:
Unlimited Calls and Gigabytes | DIGI (digimobil.es)

Thanks............Difficult to imagine there could be a better bargain............Do you have personal experience of it ?

Unlimited calls ( outside Spain as well ??) and downloads would be perfect. But does it work well, I wonder.

Thanks again.

I use Lebara in France and in the UK, the offers in France are better than those in the UK. See how Lebara Spain compares?
As with all of these operators you need to find out which network they use. It can only work as well as the network that carries it.

I´ve just switched my dads mobile over to 02.es ... unlimited calls and texts, 20gb a month, 10€.

get a second mobile and set it as a hotspot, leave it plugged into the charger.

Yes, I've been with them since the end of last year for 3 SIMs and 1GB fiber. I can't fault them at all. They don't have 5G but the 4G is faster than I was getting with Vodafone on 5G. I moved house last month and the transition for the fibre was seamless. Customer service is based in Romania so they all speak English which helps.
With roaming, the only problem you may have is changing APN settings but if you check before you go it's fine. In the UK I had no problems but in The Netherlands I had to open a chat on their app to figure out what to do.
The bottom line comes down to coverage in your area as opposed to price though. I'm pretty sure they use the Movistar network

Thank you so much ( and to others ) for the personal experience info..

The roaming, esp to Portugal, would be cherry on cake but not really necessary. Main thing would be unlimited internet and calls within Spain. Sounds perfect. Thanks again.
