Internet
Apart from the obvious paperwork and legalities that will be our first priority, getting linked up to the internet, quickly and problem-free is extremely important to us.
In the Uk there are MANY internet providers ( most provide the phone line calls too ) We have sky tv, and sky broadband. Whilst we wont want to have sky tv in spain, as we wont be in the house often enough to watch it, we do want a cheap internet connection. What are your recommendations, and rough prices?? Thanks so much for your help xx:thumbup: |
Re: Internet
Telefonica At 40-60 euros a month is the best

Re: Internet
The cheapest you will get will be dial up, I believe around €15 a month unlimited. Broadband is roughly €40 per month, both are plus line rental.
This is of course assuming that you are able to get a phone line! Do not take it for granted that you will!!! Tim |
Re: Internet
Heres a comparison site, but depending on where you end up you would need to check availability

We could have got ours in within 48 hours when we moved, BUT that would have been BEFORE we actually moved into the house. We had to delay them. |
Re: Internet
and until you settle, dont take any offers as read. firstly, ensure theres a telephone line already installed where you're going, then expect to pay the €60 odd for telefonicas adsl service. We have had numerous offers over the phone, even from telefonica for all singing all dancing new deals with faster services, cheaper calls abroad and tv services, only to find out that our
area(s) didnt have the resources. we're running telefonicas std adsl, at the above price, and its fairly good. |
