I did once read a delightful article that predicted that the UK would evolve into three classes, marked by the languages they spoke. The upper class would speak Posh. The middle class would speak Computer. The lower class would speak Narmean. |

Is it true that they took the hair for Rooney's transplant from his knuckles? |

He always comes across as a nice lad. Not bright, but so much better than many of 'em.

I can't remember the exact figure so I'll try googling for it later but apparantly the entire world's debt is approx three times the entire amount of money in the world
Long winded story but somehow I am reminded of this world debt business. Graham |

Someone I once knew in the second hand goods, oops sorry antiques trade, once told me that most sales are within the trade one trader would buy an item put it in the shop and then another trader would buy it put it in his shop for a higher price so on and so on. I asked how it was sustainable, he did not know but said it had been like that for years and this from a wholesale antique dealer.

He just comes over as an oaf. Beckham appears to be a nice guy.
Beckham wasn't always the sharpest pencil in the box at his age. He seemed to sort himself out after he got that boot in his face from Sir Alex. Hey what's all this got to do with international debt anyway ? |

I have a feeling that after all his stupidity he may learnt quite a few lessons and show a bit more common sense and respect in the future.

Nothing but nice to chat  Probably a fair point about Sir Alex putting him in his place but thats part of growing up and earning some respect, maybe Sir Alex could try it with Rooney mind instead of a boot probably require a sledge hammer:rofl: Shows though you don't have to be bright to be nice |

Well yes, he moved abroad soon after that - Real Madrid followed by LA Galaxy. He realised he could earn a lot more through image rights than by winning trophies on the football pitch.

Re: International debt.
IMO you are being unfair to Beckham.
Here is a guy who has been propelled into the position he is by luck, ability, good PR management and likeability. This does not strike me as someone of limited intelligence, that has been implied by some posters on this thread. My brain certainly does not have the ability to instantly send a message to my foot to enable a ball to swerve or whatever. That in its own way is intelligence. He also presents himself extremely well when interviewed, representing himself or the Country. How many of us could cope or do it as well as he does with millions watching his every move? I for one couldn't. I am not saying the guy is a genius but he no less intelligent than most of us and remember he doesn't the benefit of anonymity of a written forum to hide behind. How many of us would talk gibberish/dry-up if faced with public exposure? |
